On April 2003, China National Light Industry Council has awarded Chenghai District the honorable title of “ China toys & gifts city”. Chenghai is the first one that obtains this laurel.

After it has been awarded the honorable title of “ China 's toys & gifts city”, Chenghai District has been awarded another one title.
